Travel Funding Request

GSC travel awards are intended to aid students in covering travel expenses related to attending academic conferences, symposia, workshops, etc.

*Funds are only available to students who will be presenting personal research.
*We require that students attend two non-social events, volunteer at least twice for GSC events, or partake in GSC community outreach to qualify for travel awards.

All travel funds must be approved by the GSC travel award committee prior to the conference.

GSC travel awards will not exceed $500 per grant.

In the first week of each month, the GSC travel grant selection committee will select a winner who applied during the previous month by a random number generator, then verify attendance to GSC events (totaling 5 awardees per semester). Winners will be notified via email. We are unable to individually email all those who submitted an application who were not awarded, but students may re-apply each month.
