The centerpiece of this magnificent hike is Virgin Falls, which is formed by an underground stream that emerges from a cave and drops over a 110-foot cliff before disappearing into a sink. There are several more stunning waterfalls and caves along the way to Virgin Falls. This is a spectacular hike in Spring, when the water is high. Difficulty This is a four-mile in-and-out hike for 8 miles total, and it is moderate to strenuous. Coming out is mostly uphill and both ways cover some very rough and rugged terrain.
Children Policy Children 13 years and up who can handle the mileage and terrain.
Dog Policy Friendly dogs who have hiked 8 miles or more are allowed, but must be on a leash at all times.
Limit This trip is limited to 18 people.
