Even though Thanksgiving is still weeks away, many have already turned their focus to Christmas. If you’re one of those who can’t wait to deck the halls, make your way this weekend to Christmas Village at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. The annual event held by Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club to benefit the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center and other Pi Beta Phi philanthropies will run from Friday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Nov. 15. Besides Christmas decor and accessories, more than 30 specialty food vendors will be on hand with their ready-for-gifting goods, including candy, baked goods, cheeses, sauces and pasta. Visit christmasvillage.org for ticket prices and more info.
Single day tickets are available for purchase in advance for $7 from Nashville area branches of SunTrust Bank, Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center, and Vanderbilt Valet Stations. Tickets are $8 when purchased at the door. Children age 9 and under are free.
