The goals of this session are to provide an overview of the general use of PowerPoint to design and produce readable and effective PowerPoint presentations and to emphasize the oral aspects of presentation skills. By the end of the session, participants will: 1. Attempt to use PowerPoint basics including font size and style, use of the slide master, use of grammar and spelling check, personalized layout, graphics formatting, and other aspects. 2. Compare and contrast the key issues of copyright and patient privacy issues. 3. Discuss the basics of presentation and public speaking skills. Participants are invited to bring laptops and their own PowerPoint presentation that they wish to improve, enhance, revise or get started.
