AVAILABLE TO ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS BEGINNING FALL 2022
The VSG Free Printing Program
The Campus Life Committee and Student Affairs at Vanderbilt are excited to introduce the VSG Free Printing Program. The program will be available to all undergraduate students beginning Fall 2022! Here are the key details:
Funds
- All undergraduate students will receive $6 for printing at the beginning of each academic year.
- Undergraduate students who are eligible for need-based aid will get an additional $9 for printing each academic year.
Usage
- Funds can be used on black & white or color printed pages.
- Funds will be loaded to each student’s Commodore Card, separate from Commodore Cash, and can be used on any VUprint device.
- When students print on a campus printer, funds will automatically be deducted from the VSG Free Printing Program funds. Once the funds are depleted, students will use their Commodore Cash to print.
Other
- At the end of the academic year, unused funds will roll back to the University to help fund the program the following year.
- The cost per printed page is:

To reflect the University’s commitment to sustainability, we encourage students to be mindful of the number of pages printed and to only print when necessary.
We hope this initiative helps alleviate the financial burden associated with printing and promotes equity on campus.
