Funding
Vanderbilt Student Government
The VSG Co-Sponsorship program provides additional funding for school-wide events open to the entire Vanderbilt community hosted by any organization registered with the university with a recognized center code and account number. General Co-Sponsorships have a maximum allocation of $1,000. The Co-Sponsorship of the Month does not have a maximum allocation, but neither can exceed more than half of the event budget.
If you would like to apply for a Co-Sponsorship, please fill out the Co-Sponsorship Form on the VSG Anchor Link page by the 15th of the month before the event.
Vanderbilt Programming Board
To be eligible for a VPB co-sponsorship, please submit your request a minimum of 3 weeks before the event, and they will respond within a week.
The VPB Cosponsorship application will go directly to VPB Executive Board who will review the application and follow-up within 1 week. If you have a request to work with a specific VPB committee, please list this on your application in the “additional notes” section.
Graduate Student Council
The Graduate Student Council (GSC) at Vanderbilt University strives to serve the graduate school students. GSC interfaces with the university administration, holds social events, and provides funding for the many entertainment opportunities that the Nashville, TN community has to offer. In an attempt to further serve the community, the GSC offers the financial resources required to bring their innovative ideas to fruition. GSC co-sponsorship applications must be submitted three weeks before the date of the event
- A single event can only receive a maximum co-sponorship of $500
- A GSC co-sponsorship will not fund more than half of an event
- For any GSC co-sponsored event, donation cannot be made mandatory
- GSC should not be the sole advertiser of your event but will include your event in the monthly newsletter
- GSC must be listed as a co-sponsor on Anchor Link and any additional advertisement for the event
- If GSC co-sponsors your event, an evaluation form must be filled out no more than two weeks after your event
AcFee
A limited amount of additional AcFee funding is available for new or unique initiatives from existing RSOs or for new organizations not able to apply for AcFee through the Collaboration and Innovation Fund.
Interfraternity Council
IFC asks that you complete their form at least 2-3 weeks prior to your event so that they can plan accordingly. Upon completion, your application will be under review. The IFC Executive Board will get in touch with you to notify you if your request was granted.
