Vanderbilt Off-Broadway has worked year in and year out to raise money and awareness for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, one of the largest HIV/AIDS grantmaking agencies in the United States. BC/EFA’s work funds the social service work of The Actors Fund and award grants to AIDS service organizations nationwide, which in turn impacts the global fight against HIV/AIDS.

Each year, VOB dedicates performances toward raising money for the organization, and our fundraising efforts have earned us shout-outs from BC/EFA and interviews with members of the media. We hope to deepen our partnership with BC/EFA and its local affiliates now and in the future. 

VOB has also worked with local HIV/AIDS service organizations, fundraising for Nashville CARES, Tennessee’s largest HIV/AIDS service organization, and others. Each year, VOB puts on a show called Vandy Arts with a Twist, where performers around campus can showcase their talents. Proceeds from VAWAT are donated to Nashville CARES.
