Legally Blonde

Everyone knows the empowering tale of Elle Woods working her way into Harvard Law School to win back her man. VOB’s 2015-16 main stage production of Legally Blonde was a musical twist on the classic romantic comedy, with the whole gang of characters including Paulette, Emmett, Warner, and even Elle’s adorable chihuahua Bruiser. The inspiring tale followed Elle through her interesting first year of law school, a challenging internship, and a love triangle full of twists and turns. Elle’s Delta Nu sisters followed her throughout her tale as the Greek Chorus, narrating her struggles and giving her the support she needed to follow her dreams and her heart.

Legally Blonde received great reviews from audiences around campus, who loved the choreography, costumes, and set that brought the whole production together. For the first time in VOB history, the show had to be rescheduled due to one of the largest snow storms Nashville has ever seen. The cast came together to perform the show two weeks after the scheduled performances and wowed audiences again with their ability to put on an amazing show under difficult conditions.
