VU Career Services
The Biomedical Research Education and Training Office of Career Development provides career and professional development services and enrichment activities for Vanderbilt University School of Medicine PhD graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the biomedical and biological sciences.
GradLEAF is designed to be a one-stop shop for your professional development needs. Drawn from offerings by schools and departments across the Vanderbilt community to provide you a matrix of offerings, the topics and resources have been vetted by a PhD student advisory council and a council of faculty/staff across the university.
The Vanderbilt Center for Student Professional Development serves undergraduates enrolled full-time in the Blair School of Music, College of Arts and Science, School of Engineering, and Peabody College. They also will provide full services to recent graduates (0-2 years out). Their website provides general job search information and online resources geared for the undergraduate audience.
DoreWays is a portal site underCenter for Student Professional Development which posts job/intern positions and through which applications can be submitted.
VUconnect is the online resource provided by the Vanderbilt Alumni Association to connect current and former students of the Vanderbilt University community (including the School of Medicine). The Alumni Association provides some general career resources, an alumni directory, and events in cities where alumni are concentrated.
The Graduate School provides career assistance for students pursuing a PhD, MS, MFA, or MLAS degree through the Vanderbilt University Graduate School.
Vanderbilt Peabody Career Services provides career exploration for students in professional programs (Master’s and Ed.D.) at Peabody College of Education and Human Development.
