Undergraduate Honor Council Recruitment

Apply on Anchor Link September 21 – November 1, 2026.

The oldest student-run organization on campus, the Undergraduate Honor Council, is seeking new members! Since the first classes began at Vanderbilt, the Honor System has served to strengthen the academic integrity of the university. Today, the Honor Council serves two simultaneous aims: to uphold and protect the Honor Code and to educate members of the Vanderbilt community about the Honor System.

Selection Timeline

September 21 – November 1: Written applications may be submitted through Anchor Link. Three information sessions will be held during this period.

November 12 – 16: Interviews will be conducted by the Honor Council executive board.

December 1 – 3: The new member class, selected through the interview process, will be posted on Anchor Link for a campuswide ratification vote.

January 23: Mandatory New Member Training will be held at the Commons Center.

Information Sessions

Interested in learning more about the Honor Council before you apply? Three information sessions will be held prior to the application deadline. Information session dates will be posted on this page in September.

Eligibility

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students and must not be on academic or disciplinary probation. All Honor Council members must have and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA to maintain their membership.
