header_font=&#8221;Georgia||||||||&#8221; header_text_align=&#8221;center&#8221; header_font_size=&#8221;50px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\">Budget<\/h1>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.102&#8243;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The VSG Senate has approved our <strong>$127,000 budget<\/strong> for the 2026\u201327 academic year, with over <strong>90% designated for external spending<\/strong> that directly supports Vanderbilt students<\/span><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here\u2019s where some of that funding is going:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>$61,000 for student-facing programming<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, including co-sponsorships with student organizations, campus-wide events like block parties and food trucks, and the Adriel Bineza GAP Fund.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>$38,000 for VSG committee initiatives<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><strong>$4,500 for Senate initiatives<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to support projects developed by VSG\u2019s 10 committees and 18 senators.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>$7,500 for the Activism Fund<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which provides registered student organizations with up to $250 per year for eligible activist-related projects and events.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>$5,000 in contingency funding<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for additional projects, collaborations, and unforeseen expenses with Senate approval.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>$5,000 for operating expenses <\/strong>and<strong> $5,500 for internal programming<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to support VSG\u2019s day-to-day functions and member programming and activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">VSG\u2019s funding comes from SOLS ($24,000), Housing and Residential Experience ($59,000), and rollover funds from the previous fiscal year ($44,000).<\/span><br \/>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/cdn.vanderbilt.edu\/t2-studentorg\/studentorg-prd\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2026\/10\/Operating-Expenses.png&#8221;
