\nElection Information for the Student Body<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<\/blockquote>\n
[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.0.102″]This year\u2019s VSG Presidential Election period runs from Monday, March 14th to<\/strong> Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022<\/strong>. The week of March 14th begins campaigning, a town hall will be held in conjunction with the Hustler on the afternoon of March 19th<\/strong>, and the voting period is from 8 AM on March 21st to 12 PM on March 23rd<\/strong>.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.0.102″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”on”][et_pb_testimonial background_layout=”light” _builder_version=”3.0.102″ animation_style=”slide”]Please remember that no candidate, campaign member, or student is immune from the Student Accountability Process. The VSG Election Commission will report any forms of illicit behavior, speech, or actions to Student Accountability. - Voter Intimidation<\/span><\/li>\n
- The usage of university maintained listservs or GroupMes as a means of campaigning<\/span><\/li>\n
- The stapling, tacking, nailing, or taping of flyers, papers, or informational materials to trees by campaigns<\/span><\/li>\n
- Negative campaigning, libel, or slander by candidates or campaign staff<\/span><\/li>\n
- Any campaigning prior to Monday, March 14th at 8 am<\/span><\/li>\n
- Signs driven into the ground with a stake<\/span><\/li>\n
- Posters or fliers taped in any place<\/span><\/li>\n
- Banners hung from tree branches or in non-designated areas<\/span><\/li>\n
- The use of chalk on any surface other than chalkboards<\/span><\/li>\n
- The use of chalkboards in academic classrooms for campaign-related purposes<\/span><\/li>\n
- Campaign materials on cars<\/span><\/li>\n
- Mass mailing to student mailboxes<\/span><\/li>\n
- Door-to-door campaigning\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
