American Idiot is a groundbreaking musical that follows a group of young people who become disillusioned with their suburban lifestyle and seek meaning among the thrills of the city, and features high-energy performances of the songs everyone knows and loves from the band “Green Day”. For VOB’s 2017-18 Mainstage performance,

American Idiot was a hit across campus despite countless weather delays. Audiences loved the integration of projections with strong directing, costumes, technical design, choreography. The audience was particularly impressed with the choice to have the orchestra pit integrated onstage into the rafters.
