Vanderbilt Rowing competed against crews from across the country on May 23-24 at the American Collegiate Rowing Association’s national championship regatta.
All crews faced fierce competition. On the women’s side, both the novice four and the varsity eight competed in the petite finals, and after a close race the varsity eight placed third in their event! The men’s crews also saw very competitive heats, with the varsity men’s four finishing first in their final.

We also had several athletes recognized for their accomplishments on and off the water. Michael Levin and Andrew Kress both made the ACRA All-American Southern Men’s Eight, while Joanna Palmer and Yuna Pyun made the Southern Women’s Eight.
Matthew Abemayor, Eva Botkin-Kowacki, Sophia Day, Michael Levin, Shana Luo, Joanna Palmer, and Yuna Pyun also received the ACRA Academic Award for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or greater. Congratulations to all recipients!
