Parents’ Weekend at the Lake

This past weekend, Vanderbilt Rowing hosted a Parents’ Day at the lake to introduce Vandy Rowing parents to this incredible sport!  The parents got to see their sons and daughters out on the water rowing, and they even got a chance to learn how to row out on our barge too!  Besides the great fun on the water Saturday morning, Vanderbilt Rowing also held a naming ceremony for one of our eight-man racing shells.  Current Head Coach Lindsay Chatfield was joined by former Head Coach Jon Miller to dedicate the Dr. Jack Tauscher.  Dr. Tauscher, father of Vandy Crew alumnus Rob Tauscher, has been an incredible supporter of Vanderbilt Rowing over the past four years, and we are so glad to be able to express our gratitude for his generosity.
