MISSION STATEMENT

The Residential & Student Spaces Committee works to shape Vanderbilt’s physical campus, everything from residential halls to student centers,  into a productive space that is equitable to all. This committee also manages VSG’s connection with FutureVU’s space-related initiatives.

CURRENT INITIATIVES

• Including women’s hygenic products and dispensers in all bathrooms

• Maximize study spaces: extending library hours, white board rentals, etc.

• Ensuring FutureVU includes rehearsal spaces in residential spaces

PAST INITIATIVES

• Coordinate with administration to fully implement gender-inclusive bathrooms
  
• Host residential town halls
  
• Improving communications from FutureVU changes effecting students
